CIES-Iscte is accepting expressions of interest for the recruitment of a Senior Technician, under an individual employment contract of indefinite duration, to perform duties in the Research Unit.

Duties

The selected candidate will provide support for the management of scientific research projects and activities (both national and international), with a special focus on the procurement of goods and services. The main tasks include:

• Creating and managing procurement processes for goods and services through management platforms;
• Managing reimbursement processes related to procurements;
• Receiving and validating requests for the processing of per diem allowances;
• Maintaining physical and digital records of the processes;
• Liaising with suppliers of goods and services;
• Liaising with principal investigators and coordinating with the technical teams at CIES-Iscte and Iscte.

Profile

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Management, Public Administration, or a related field deemed appropriate by the Selection Committee.

Skills: Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently, as well as strong written and oral communication skills in Portuguese.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and/or experience using management software in an academic setting (e.g., SINGAP, SIGEST);
• Knowledge and/or experience with procurement processes on public contracting platforms (e.g., SIAV - EsPaP);
