PhD student in Modern and Contemporary History at the University Institute of Lisbon (ISCTE-IUL). Has a Master's degree in History from the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO), and a Bachelor's degree in History from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He is currently a research scholarship holder, linked to the CINCRA Project (International Collaborations: criminality and police cooperation in the Ibero-American Atlantic, c. 1870-1940), which is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT). He was a Master's degree scholarship holder, funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES/Brazil). During his graduation, had research experience as a scholarship holder of the Institutional Memory Division of UFRJ and of the National Museum of Brazil.
