PhD researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES) - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (Iscte). Visiting Assistant Professor at ESPP-Iscte. I am a historian with a master's degree and a PhD in Education (Sociology of Education). I work mainly in the field of Sociology and Education (in Brazil and Portugal). For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to understanding the social, family, generational and political dynamics among metalworkers in the industrial suburb of ABC Paulista (São Paulo-Brazil). My main research interests are family studies, generations, political socialisation, politicisation and qualitative methods in the social sciences and education. I am also interested in social inequalities and the study of working class families.
