Filipa Pinho is a sociologist and holds a PhD degree in sociology awarded by Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. An Assistant Professor at the Departament of Methods of Social Research, the School of Sociology and Public Policy (ESPP), Filipa is also a researcher at CIES, Iscte.Filipa's research interests have focused mainly on international migration (Portuguese emigration and the return of migrants, Brazilian migration to Portugal, migration policies, refugees) youth and, lately, also housing (she collaborates with the LxHabidata project).Filipa has worked as independent researcher/consultant on a wide range of projects.
