She holds a degree in Literature and is currently pursuing a master's degree in African Studies at ISCTE – Lisbon University Institute, where she has completed her coursework and is currently developing a practical project entitled ‘The contribution of local communities to access to education: the case of Community Schools in the Biombo Region, Guinea-Bissau’.She is a Research Assistant at CIES within the scope of the IN-Iscte – A Space to Grow project, dedicated to promoting academic success and supporting students in vulnerable situations.She was a mentor in the Buddy Mentoring programme, contributing to the integration and academic and personal development of students.She works at Espaço Estudante, where she supports students, teaches the Academic Portuguese course and has already given the workshop ‘Preparing Academic Papers’.
