At the invitation of Federal Deputy Talíria Petrone (PSOL) and the Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals (APAN), CIES-Iscte researcher Marcia Rangel Candido took part in a public hearing at the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies dedicated to affirmative action in cinema.

As an expert, Marcia Rangel Candido contributed to the debate on gender and racial inequalities, as well as on the design of public policies to address them. The session was recorded and is available on the Chamber of Deputies’ channel.
