The article "Beyond health: medicines, food supplements, energetics and the commodification of self-performance in Maputo" by Carla F. Rodrigues, is in the top 10% with the most downloads on Sociology of Health and Illness Journal.

Among work published between January 2018 and December 2019, the article of the CIES research assistant, was one of the most downloaded in the 12 months following the online publication.

Carla F. Rodrigues is part of the research team of the project ConPerLIt - Medicines and food supplements in performance consumption: social practices, contexts and literacy, coordinated by the Researcher Noémia Mendes Lopes and financed by the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT).
