I have a bachelor's and master's degree in disaster and human security management. I also hold another Master's degree in Social Work with Children and Youth under the prestigious Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Program, where, my master's thesis was focused on 'Ukrainian refugees' family integration into Slovak society: Socioeconomic and cultural dimension'. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in International Studies. My proposed PhD thesis is 'Protection 2 Integration (P2I): Portuguese Policy Response for the Integration of Ukrainian Refugees into the Labor Market'. The primary goal of my research is to examine Portugal’s policy response to the integration of Ukrainian refugees into the labor market, within the broader context of the European Union’s Temporary Protection Directive (TPD).
