Filipa Pinho is a sociologist and holds a PhD degree in sociology awarded by Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. At present is a post doctoral researcher at CES Coimbra, on the project Experiences and expectations of return of new Portuguese emigrants: reintegration and mobilities, in which CIES is also a participant research centre (and in which is associate researcher). Her research interests have focused mainly in international migration (Portuguese emigration, Brazilian emigration to Portugal, migration policy, refugees). Currently (2019/2020), is Invited assistant professor at the School of Sociology and Public Policy (ESPP, ISTE-IUL). Was invited assistant researcher of the projects PandPAS and Below 10, at CIES-IUL, in 2018. Before, she was the executive coordinator at the Emigration Observatory since its founding to 2013, project coordinator and researcher at International Organization for Migration in Lisbon (2004 and 2014) and researcher in several projects, among which are highlighted the most recent: Empreender 2020 ... [ver mais]
