Filipa Pinho is a sociologist and holds a PhD degree in sociology awarded by Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. She is invited assistant professor at the School of Sociology and Public Policy (ESPP, Iscte), since the school year 2019/2020, and is a researcher at CIES, Iscte. Was, between January 2019 and September 2021, a post doctoral researcher at CES Coimbra, on the project Experiences and Expectations of Return of New Portuguese Emigrants: Reintegration and Mobilities, in which CIES_Iscte was also a participant research centre. Her research interests have been focused mainly in international migration (Portuguese emigration, Brazilian emigration to Portugal, migration policy, refugees) and, more recently, on housing data (participanes on the project LxHabidata) . Was invited assistant researcher of the projects PandPAS and Below 10, at CIES-IUL, in 2018.
