Ana
Luisa
Micaelo
has
a
PhD
in
Anthropology
(2014).
She
published
one
ethnographic
monograph,
several
book
chapters,
articles
and
papers
about
the
ownership
dynamics
in
land
reform
settlements
on
the
former
sugarcanne
plantations
of
Pernambuco
(Brazil).
Currently
she
is
a
Pos-doctoral
Fellow
at
ISCTE-IUL
and
integrated
researcher
at
CRIA,
where
she
is
doing
research
on
the
meanings,
livelihoods
and
policies
of
foreclosure
in
Lisbon,
developing
the
project
"The
house
of
debt:
credit
constraints
and
house
ownership
in
contemporary
Portugal".
She
is
co-coordinator
of
the
CRIA's
research
group
"Governance,
Policies
and
Livelihoods",
member
of
the
team
project
“LIVEPOLITICS
Negotiating
Livelihoods
under
transformative
politics:
crisis,
policies
and
practices
in
Portugal
2008-2018”
(PTDC/SOC-ANT/32676/2017),
and
actively
engaged
in
other
institutional
and
networking
activities,
from
the
Portuguese
Anthropology
Association
(APA)
to
European
Association
of
Social
Anthropologists
(EASA).
